Women@Work: Confidence and Charisma

Jul 08, 15 Women@Work: Confidence and Charisma

Every year, as part of our Breaking Boundaries Initiative (BBi), the PSDC organises a Women’s Development Forum to target the development of female leaders. In the past 2 years, the Forum has grown from strength to strength and has garnered much support from the female corporate leaders as well as upcoming leaders from all over Penang. Many of these female leaders said that they have benefitted much from this initiative.

Riding on this success and positive outcome, we are pleased to inform that the 2015 Women’s Development Forum is happening on 4 & 5 August 2015 and the theme for this year’s forum is Women@Work: Confidence and Charisma. For the very first time, the Forum will be held over 2 days, featuring a half-day forum session and three leadership workshop sessions conducted by our partner, Development Dimensions International (DDI). DDI is one of the top talent management consultancies that provides internationally sought-after leadership programs. The PSDC is collaborating with DDI through this Women@Work platform for everyone to benefit from these sessions at a heavily subsidised cost of investment.

Through the forum and workshop sessions, we aim to facilitate the development and improvement of participants’ leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills, as well as enable participants to enhance the confidence and competence of their own teams and staff on an ongoing basis. The Forum will also provide a strategic avenue for participants to engage in interesting discussions to explore new ideas and expand their networking skills.

We look forward to your participation in this Forum. If you would like to find out more about this Forum, click on the eflyer below. Alternatively, you can also log on to www.psdc.org.my or call 04-643 7909 ext 580 for further details.
